AI will lower the cost of execution faster than it lowers the cost of judgment.

Why I believe this

AI will make it dramatically easier for small teams to build, analyse, automate, write, design, and ship.

But it will not make it equally easy to decide what deserves to be built.

As execution becomes cheaper, judgment becomes more valuable. The people and teams who understand users, recognise important problems, build trust, and choose the right direction will become more differentiated—not less.

The future advantage will not be access to tools. It will be knowing what to do with them.

What would change my mind

If AI makes strategic judgment reliably cheap across real organisations, not only task execution.
