I founded I-VOTE, a digital student voting platform designed to make participation simpler, more accessible, and more trusted.

The platform became the first digital student voting system in Southeastern Europe. In less than eight months, it reached more than 300,000 users and was implemented across 85+ schools.

What I worked on

  • Founding and leading technical development
  • Building and implementing the voting platform
  • Working across 85+ schools
  • Scaling to 300,000+ users
  • Leading the negotiations and finalising the acquisition by the Council of Europe

What I-VOTE taught me

Technology becomes more difficult when it affects trust.

A voting platform cannot only be easy to use. People need to understand it, believe in it, and feel that the system treats them fairly. I-VOTE was my first serious experience of building technology with public consequences.
